Understanding Your Birth Control Options

If you are in need of birth control to regulate your menstrual cycle or prevent pregnancy, there is an array of birth control options out there for you to choose from. No matter what your age or medical history happens to be, you should be able to find an affordable and effective form of contraception. While the pill is the most common form of birth control on the market, many other Canada drugs are designed to help as well. Here we will look at the different options out there for you so you can determine what will work best.

As mentioned before, the most common contraceptive Canada drugs for women are birth control pills. These are given out in monthly cycles where a woman takes one pill a day for three weeks in a row and then leaves the last week of the month for her period. There isn’t actually a period going on at that time, even though it looks the same. The body is simple withdrawing the wall that was built up by the birth control in the uterus. You can take birth control pills back to back and avoid several periods in a row. That just means that you will have to cover more packs of pills a year.

Another option of Canada drugs that will help you avoid pregnancy involves a small ring that is inserted into the vagina. This ring is new to the market, but it does the same basic job as the pills do. The ring helps form a barrier inside of the uterus so eggs cannot attach to the side. This barrier is also needed to prevent sperm from coming in. This will work for three weeks or a little more, and it can be removed so you can start your period.

There are also copper inner uterine devices, which are made to last practically forever inside of a woman’s body. These Canada drugs are inserted into the uterus and left there to prevent pregnancy. They can be removed at any time, and they are not painful at all. Most people can safely use a CIUD unless they are allergic to copper, but this option does come at a price. If you break it down into long term costs, this method will actually save you a lot of money. Initially though, you will have to front more funding if you go with this route.
